New Banksy artwork?

A piece of new graffiti street art, claimed to be by the secretive underground guerilla artist Banksy, appeared on the side of a house in Cheltenham, England this weekend.

The artwork, which shows three stencil figures listening into a conversation in an existing telephone box, is just a few miles away from Government Communications Headquaters (GCHQ), which is responsible for providing intelligence and information assurance to the British Government and Armed Forces.

Insects Au Gratin Exhibition At Wellcome Collection

The Southbank’s Skatepark To Be Replaced By Retail Units

Plans are underway to refurbish the Festival Wing, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery complex, including the ‘Undercroft’, which would be replaced with new arts venues and retail outlets.

The skate park, hailed as the birthplace of British skateboarding is to be moved to nearby Hungerford bridge, which has caused anger amongst the skateboarding and bmxing community.

Sculptors Place The Finishing Touches To Their Hollywood Themed Sand Sculptures

This year’s Hollywood themed annual Weston-Super-Mare Sand Sculpture Festival on March 26, 2013 in Weston-Super-Mare, England is getting its final touches.

Due to open on Good Friday, currently twenty award winning sand sculptors from across the globe are working to create sand sculptures including Harry Potter, Marilyn Monroe and characters from the Star Wars films as part of the town’s very own movie themed festival on the beach.
